We have been having weekly cash beer pong tournaments for 2 months now at The Tipsy Crow downtown and for almost a month at McMurphy’s Pub in the college area and we would like to thank all the teams that have made that possible. We have had a good number of teams become regulars at these weekly tournaments and that’s what keeps things going. Thanks to the number of regular number of teams coming to The Tipsy Crow on a weekly basis the bar has graced us with our own bartender in the underground and no longer has to make the trek upstairs in our search for more alcohol.
For those of you who have not joined us for these weekly tournaments we invite you to do so. Every Monday night we have weekly cash tournaments at The Tipsy Crow downtown. Sign-ups start at 8:15 pm with game play starting around 9:30pm. It’s $10 per team to buy in with 100% of the cash being split 70/30 between first and second. The Tipsy Crow has great drink specials with $3 you call its and $7 pitchers of Coors Light. We also have them on Wednesday nights at McMurphy’s Pub in the college area. It’s the same deal, but there are great pitcher specials there. So whether you’re starting off your week with a bang or getting over your midweek blues SDBP has an event for you.
Don’t forget we also have our monthly tournaments at Cabo Cantina every first Saturday of the month. Beer is provided for this tournament during play and you get great 2 for 1 drink specials while you wait. So join the best and the worst players in San Diego at one of our many events.
Due to the success of our Monday night cash tournaments at The Tipsy Crow we would like you to join us every Wednesday night at McMurphy’s Pub in the college area for our weekly cash beer pong tournaments as well starting Wednesday, August 4th, 2010. It is going to be $5 per person ($10 per team) to play and there will be a 100% cash payout split 70/30 between first and second every week. Please join us for McMurphy’s great drink specials and a chance to get over the mid-week blues. Bring as many friends as you can because the more that plays the more we pay. Monday was the first night that SDBP had an event at the Tipsy Crow in downtown San Diego. For a Monday night and it being the first week we had a decent turnout of 13 teams. Congrats are in order to Mike Wan and Mike Watt for taking the first place prize of $105 and to Justin Payan and
