On Saturday, February 6, 2010 San Diego Beer Pong along with BeerPongLeagues.com will be having their first beer pong tournament of the year at Cabo Cantina in Pacific Beach, CA. This year we are changing things up. While we are still including your beer for all the beer pong matches, still extending the 2 for 1 drink specials at the bar, and still having an amazing time doing it, we are giving out prizes to the top four teams!!!
This Saturday, come on down to Pacific Beach where the camera's will be rolling as a film crew will be filming a documentary on the phenomenon known as San Diego Beer Pong.
Here are some answers to some questions asked recently...
What time should we show up?
We would like to get started at 2 PM sharp so please be at the bar by 1:30PM for check in. If you don't want to sign up online and reserve your spot, make sure you get there a bit earlier to make sure the tournament doesn't fill up.
What is the cost of beer for the games?
Nothing. Once again, beer is included. It will most likely be Tecate'.
Do we have to drink the beer?
No. Under no circumstances do we make anyone consume alcohol. Just let us know you would like to play with water beforehand.
What rules will you be using for this tournament?
We will be using the World Series of Beer Pong rules. You can find the rules listed on our website here.
How many players are on a team?
We actually get this a lot. There are two players on a team. If you need a partner, let us know. We can usually match people up fairly easily.
Where is Cabo Cantina located?
It is on Garnett Avenue in Pacific Beach.
