Monday was the first night that SDBP had an event at the Tipsy Crow in downtown San Diego. For a Monday night and it being the first week we had a decent turnout of 13 teams. Congrats are in order to Mike Wan and Mike Watt for taking the first place prize of $105 and to Justin Payan and Christina Bulmahn for taking the second place prize of $35.
We will continue to have weekly tournaments every Monday at the Tipsy Crow. It’s $5 a person to play with a 70%/30% payout for first and second places. Sign-ups start at 8:15 pm every week with the games starting around 9:00 pm. Please show up early because spots fill up fast. Invite your friends, neighbors, brothers, and sisters down because the more teams that play the more money we have to pay. It’s also Industry and Game Night at the Tipsy Crow every Monday night so they have the drink exchange until 8pm and after that it’s $3 you call its and $7 pitchers of Coors Light. I hope to see everyone there next week and bring your A game because last week we had some pretty stiff competition.
